Broccoli Thoran

Broccoli is one of the miracle food , because of its super nutritive contents , though I personally doesn't like its taste , transforming this vegetable to suit mallu tastebuds isn't that hard. 
Thanks to one of my friend who shared this idea.
There is another common recipe to do with Broccoli ,  Broccoli - cheese soup , yet to try making it at home.  

Super easy side dish for Rice with a super nutritious vegetable !


Ingredients 


Broccoli - 1 medium size finely chopped 
Onion - 1 medium finely chopped 
Green chili - 3 to 4 no's chopped 
Coconut - 4 table spoon grated 
Cumin seeds/Jeera - 1/4 tsp (Optional) 
Turmeric Powder - 1/4 tsp
Coconut Oil - 2 table spoon 
Mustard seeds - 1 tsp  

Method 


* Mix all the ingredients except Oil & mustard 



* Heat oil , pop mustard seeds ,  add the mixed ingredients and cook for 5 to 7 mints in medium flame uncovered , stirring constantly. Serve hot with Rice.
